TANZANIAN COMMUNITY IN ROME (TZ-RM,) is a community that unites TANZANIANS living in Rome and those living outside of Rome who have read, understood and accepted the content of its Constitution and hence becoming part of the community's family. Tanzanian Community in Rome is a fruit of the well designed ideas, approved by all community members at the Community's First General Meeting held on the 30th January, 2010. It is a non-political, non-religious, non-ethnical and non-gender based kind of organization. It is a community that democratically, accepts and respects different ideas from all its members without any sort of segregation.

Tanzanian Community in Rome counts alot on members monthly contributions in order to keep the community alive.But all in all, it appreciates any sort of contribution from anyone.

Breaking News: Pope Unhurt After Being Knocked Down at the Christmas Mass

ROME — An “unbalanced woman” jumped the barriers in St. Peter’s Basilica and knocked down Pope Benedict XVI as walked down the main aisle to begin Christmas Eve Mass, a Vatican spokesman said Thursday.

Television images showed a woman in red leap toward Benedict as he began to walk up the central aisle, as the police and bodyguards scrambled to the aid of the 82-year-old pope.

The woman also knocked down Cardinal Roger Etchegaray, said the spokesman, the Rev. Federico Lombardi.

Vatican police took the woman in for questioning, and Cardinal Etchegaray was taken to the emergency room for a checkup, the ANSA news agency reported. The woman did not appear to have “malicious intentions,” ANSA said.

It was not immediately clear whether she was the same woman stopped by the police last year after she attempted to lunge at the pope as he left the Basilica.

Ni jumuiya isiyo ya Kisiasa, kidini, Kikabila au Kijinsia ambayo inaheshimu mawazo mbalibali ya wanajumuiya wake yanayolenga kujenga na kuimalisha umoja wa jumuiya.
