New reform for all the Balottellis of Italy

Rome - 29 june 2012
The president of the "Forum Immigration of the Pd": “Italy has changed, thanks to the new generation that is still waiting to know about the outcome for them to become Italians.Parliamentarians should wake up "

“The history of Balotelli makes us understand that, Italy has changed and that, it must open its eyes on a million Balotellis that live in our schools, in our families, our cities. A history that makes prank of all those who continues to support the uselessness of one reform of the law on citizenship ".

Therefore, Honoroble Livia Turco, Parlamentarian and the President of the Forum Immigration of the Democratic  Party , affirmed today that there is a need to revise the law on becoming Italian Citizens. “A law - he explains - that we democrats have in any case denounced because of anachronistic, unjust and not worthy of a civil country”.
“Next week as initiative of the Democratic Party, a party that has always defended with determination the principle  regarding those who are born and raised in Italy will be discussed in the Parliament on the reform about the law on the citizenship.
“Its our wish that, the story of Balotelli will awaken member of parliaments and make them reflect on the good sense of some parliamentarians whom, berthed to old preconcepts, they do not want to accept the fact that Italy has changed thanks to the one new generation that still wait to become Italians”.
