TANZANIAN COMMUNITY IN ROME (TZ-RM,) is a community that unites TANZANIANS living in Rome and those living outside of Rome who have read, understood and accepted the content of its Constitution and hence becoming part of the community's family. Tanzanian Community in Rome is a fruit of the well designed ideas, approved by all community members at the Community's First General Meeting held on the 30th January, 2010. It is a non-political, non-religious, non-ethnical and non-gender based kind of organization. It is a community that democratically, accepts and respects different ideas from all its members without any sort of segregation.

Tanzanian Community in Rome counts alot on members monthly contributions in order to keep the community alive.But all in all, it appreciates any sort of contribution from anyone.

Italian Minister of Home Affairs/Foreign Affairs: “Ok to body scanner in the airports”


Hon. Roberto Maroni: “At least to Fiumicino and Malpensa”
A go ahead to the use of body scanner in the airports, from the Minister of Home Affairs Roberto Maroni. Hon. Maroni declaired that, the Body Scanner for now will be useful at least to the airports with greater number of intercontinental flights. "I will meet in these days, the President of Enac, Vito Riggio, so as to introduce the system at least in Fiumicino and Malpensa airports”.

And problems regarding to privacy? Maroni thinks that “a concrete and a balanced solution can be adopted, with scanner that will, in small amount, penentrate the body structure of passengers, but will show the presence of a bag or an object”.

On the issue the minister of the Foreign affairs, Hon. Fratini stated that, "Body scanner is an instrument that can assure security to passengers. I understand all those who worry about their privacy, but it is a wothy sacrifice ", he added. Italy will adopt the body scanner immediately after receiving a certification from the European Union.
