After the fasting and the purification on the month of Ramadan, for the Muslims of all over the world, here comes the moment to celebrate. On Sunday 2oth/09 or Monday 21st/09 (the Fitr, the breach of the fast depends on the sight of the increasing moon) will be celebrated Eid.
The festivity lasts three days, but it is the first one of these to be mainly felt. The Muslim will gather together for the special morning prayer, then the day will be covered up with exchanges of Eid mubarak wishes,
Eid the Fitr is an outbreak of joy and vitality. It marks the return to eat during the sunlight. In Muslim countries, on the night of the eve, stores remain opened and people do alot of shopping.
In Italy one hopes that the increasing moon comes sighted saturday evening, so that Eid-a the Fitr can begin Sunday.
